Terms of Payment

Due on application to the program:
  • A deposit of $750.00 per person plus airport taxes and surcharges of $367.00  payable, by cheque, money order or credit card to Kemptville Travel Ltd.
  • One half the balance is due April 1, 2009. The balance, payable by cheque or money order, is due May 1, 2009. Students who register after those dates must pay the amount due when they apply.

Travel Arrangements
Students who go with the group to Ireland may change their return date for an additional fee, subject to availability. Group prices are ex Toronto or New York.

Students who do not fly with the group and make their own travel arrangements will receive a $750.00 deduction from the program fee. Students who arrive before the first day or who stay after the last day of the program are responsible for their own accommodation and transportation to and from the residences, and other travel arrangements. As much as possible, we will work with the parents and students to help facilitate their plans.

Travel Documentation
You will need a valid passport, and failure to comply will result in being denied boarding of the aircraft. If you do not hold a valid Canadian or US passport, please consult the appropriate Embassy/Consulate as to whether or not visas are required. Irish Experience and Kemptville Travel accept no responsibility for inadequate travel documents and there will be no refunds in the event of a student being denied boarding of the aircraft or entry to Ireland.

Cancellation and Health Insurance 
Group insurance coverage for trip cancellation and excess medical costs is included in the program price.
All insurance coverage contains exclusions. Coverage for expenses or benefits arising from or related to a pre-existing medical condition may be limited. Health insurance is not available to U.S. students.
All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to The Irish Experience. Cancellations prior to April 1 2009 are subject to an administration fee of $400.00. No reason need be provided. Thereafter, a fee of $1,117.00 will apply to cancellations for reasons of illness or bereavement .  No refunds will be given for students who voluntarily withdraw during the program, nor will there be any refund for any student who is asked to leave the program for use of drugs, abuse of alcohol or breach of the rules of the program

Responsibility
The Irish Experience and Kemptville Travel Ltd. and their representatives act as the agents for the accrediting institutions with regard to all travel and accommodation arrangements. Credits are issued by those institutions in accordance with Ministry of Education Guidelines. Accrediting institutions are responsible for providing the instructional component of the Program only, and accept no responsibility for travel arrangements or activities not related to the academic component. Courses are offered subject to Board approval and minimum enrolment. The Irish Experience reserves the right to cancel any program by April 15, 2008 by offering a place in another program or a full refund.

All rates are based on current tariffs and exchange, and are subject to adjustment in the event of changes therein, at the time of final payment. Schedules, departure dates, times and itineraries quoted The Irish Experience and Kemptville Travel Ltd are subject to change without notice. The Irish Experience acts only as air and accommodation agent for all of the services included in the program and as such will exercise reasonable care in making the arrangements for, and the conduct of the program.

All or part of the deposits and final payments paid by program participants to Kemptville Travel Ltd. will be sent to the various suppliers of services included in the tour. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that no additional travel documents are required. The Irish Experience, Kemptville Travel Ltd and the accrediting institutions are not responsible for inadequate travel documents. The Irish Experience and Kemptville Travel Ltd. do not assume any responsibility or liability for any claims, damages, expenses or other financial loss whether to person or property arising out of injury, accident, death, cancellation, delay, alteration or inconvenience resulting from any act of omission, or inadvertence of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, or other company or person rendering any of the services included in the program or caused by weather, sickness, strikes, quarantines or the willful or negligent acts or any other cause whatsoever beyond the control of The Irish Experience and Kemptville Travel Ltd. All tickets, coupons and orders are furnished and issued subject in all respects to the terms and conditions imposed thereon. Airlines and other transportation companies whose services are featured in these programs are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their conveyance. The passage contract in use by these companies issued shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of this program.
